3. Compatible With Any Broker That Supports MT4 or MT5
Trading Connector is designed to work seamlessly with popular trading platforms like MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). Pros Of Trading Connector
1. Multiple Accounts
One of the key advantages of Trading Connector is its compatibility with multiple trading accounts. Traders can manage and trade across multiple accounts, diversifying their strategies and accessing different brokers, all through the same unified interface. This flexibility allows traders to make more profit.
2. Easy To Set Up
Trading Connector simplifies the process of connecting TradingView alerts to MetaTrader by providing a user-friendly setup that does not require coding knowledge. Traders can easily configure their preferred trading parameters and connect their accounts to initiate automated trading. However, for those with advanced coding requirements or the need for custom script adjustments, Trading Connector offers support for coding as part of its services.
3. Speed
The tool also ensures reliable and fast trade execution, as it responds to TradingView alerts and triggers trades on the MetaTrader platform in less than a second. This speed is crucial in volatile markets, where timely execution can make a significant difference.
Configuring Trading Connector With MT4/MT5 And TradingView
To configure alerts in TradingView and seamlessly send them to MetaTrader, follow these step-by-step instructions:
Sign in to your TradingView account.
Once logged in, select the desired chart for which you want to configure alerts. You can search for a specific symbol or choose from the available options.
Locate the toolbar at the top of the chart and find the "Alerts" button, usually represented by a bell icon. Click on it to open the alerts panel.
In the alerts panel, you'll see a list of your existing alerts (if any). To create a new alert, click the "Create Alert" button, usually positioned at the top-right corner of the panel.
A new window will appear, allowing you to configure the details of your alert. Customize the following key settings:
A. Symbol: Choose the financial instrument to which the alert should be applied (e.g., stocks, forex pairs, cryptocurrencies).
B. Condition: Specify the trigger condition for the alert. Select from various options, such as price crossing a specific level, an indicator reaching a certain value, or a custom script condition.
C. Once Per Bar / Once Per Minute: Determine whether the alert should trigger once per bar or once per minute based on your preferred notification frequency.
D. Alert Actions: Decide how you want to receive notifications when the condition is met. TradingView provides options such as popup messages, email notifications, and push notifications to your mobile device through the TradingView app.
After configuring the alert settings, click on the "Create" button to save the alert.
Your alert will now appear in the alerts panel, and TradingView will monitor the market for the specified condition. Once the condition is met, the trading signal is instantly delivered to the TradingConnectorEA on your MT4 or MT5 platform.
Note:
To ensure that TradingConnector only executes the alerts you want in MetaTrader and avoids unintentional execution of other alerts triggered by TradingView, follow these steps:
Enable the "Require 'onlytc' parameter in alerts" setting in EAconfig. This setting ensures that TradingConnector pays attention only to alerts that include a specific parameter, "onlytc."
When configuring your alerts in TradingView, include the string "onlytc" in the alert. This is a keyword that indicates to TradingConnector that the alert should be executed in MetaTrader.
By enabling this setting and adding the "onlytc" string to your desired alerts, you can effectively filter out any alerts that lack this keyword. Consequently, TradingConnector will ignore those alerts, minimizing the chances of unintended executions in MetaTrader.
This feature provides greater control and precision over the alerts that TradingConnector responds to, allowing you to focus on executing the specific trading signals you want in your MetaTrader platform.
